How do FASTag transactions get into the app?

Each FASTag account has a source. The simplest is uploading the issuer’s statement (Excel or CSV) or forwarding its emails to Smart Capture. Where the bank allows it, an API pulls transactions on a schedule. Every source feeds the same checks, and duplicates across sources are removed by transaction ID.

How does the app catch double deductions and class mismatch?

After import, every toll is checked. Two debits for one vehicle at the same plaza within minutes are flagged as duplicates. A charge for a different vehicle class than the vehicle’s registered class is flagged as a class mismatch. Amounts far from that plaza’s usual charge are flagged too, so you know which tolls to dispute.

Each flagged toll can be marked as dispute raised, refunded or rejected. A refund of a disputed toll settles the dispute and is reflected in the wallet ledger.

How do GPS toll-plaza checks work?

With the GPS add-on, the vehicle’s route is compared with a master list of toll plazas. Each plaza the vehicle passed becomes an expected toll, which is matched with the FASTag debits. You see tolls charged where the vehicle was nowhere near the plaza, and passages that were never charged.

Plaza locations are imported from an authoritative list (NHAI / IHMCL data), never guessed, so the check only runs where the master list is filled in.
